Chick-Fil-A: Masters of PR

In an attempt to cover up their public relations blunder over homophobic statements and allegations of contributing to hate groups aimed at homosexuals, Chick-Fil-A has embarked on a new add campaign with the slogan “We hate everyone!”“It doesn’t matter if you are gay, straight, Black, Latino, Asian, or even White: we hate you. Just please eat our sandwiches.” The company released in a recent statement. They have also pledged to contribute to all hate groups including the Klu Klux Klan, the Black Israeli movement, both the ‘Bloods’ and the ‘Crips’ gang organizations, several brutal dictatorships, and the Mitt Romney campaign.“We realize that our problem was that we directed our hate toward one specific group. Now, we want to have all our bases covered so no one feels singled out. We want everyone to feel hated. Hopefully this will bring in customers,” remarked the CEO of Chick-Fil-A at a recent press conference. One customer noted, “Now that everyone is hated by the company, I don’t feel that I am letting down my gay friends by eating out there. Their waffle fries are delicious.”With this new policy, Chick-Fil-A hopes increase their market by opening up restaurants in several, predominantly homosexual neighborhoods such as Chelsea and the West Village in the New York City, San Francisco, and all of Florida. Why the restaurant decided to lash out at a specific consumer group with opinionated remarks has baffled most non-Southern Americans.
