A group of organisations, tired of having their corporate, sporting and social occasions ruined by bad weather have enlisted the talents of several leading inventors to solve the problem. A competition was staged with a million pound prize for anyone who could solve the problem. The winning entry was developed by a team from Sevenoaks University who have built a giant vacuum cleaner which can be dragged behind an aeroplane or helicopter, sucking up the cloud as it goes. Unfortunately the machine was a victim of its own success. Having inhaled five large clouds the weight of water in its tanks was too much for the plane which promptly crashed having lost its tail. The Pilot; Dr Brian Wolftrousers, a professor at the University, managed to eject to safety and is now believed to be working on a ground based version of the product.
