Fangs for Saving the Elephant!

Vegetarians are being asked to donate their redundant canine teeth in an attempt to undercut the illegal ivory trade. It is estimated that five people in every one thousand of the world’s population is a vegetarian equating to some 35,000,000 people. Were each to donate their redundant fangs it would be possible to flood the world ivory market with the resultant 140, 000 tonnes of pristine vegetarian teeth thus driving down the price of elephant tusks to a level where hunting them would no longer be profitable. Come on veggies! Pull out those Canines! Do it for Nellie!
