Beast of Billericay

A photo believed to be of the fabled Beast of Billericay has been submitted to experts. The animal, previously thought to be a large black cat, appears to be more birdlike in appearance. The wild eyes and ginger hair are reminiscent of an orang-utan … but with a beak. Showing signs of wear and tear the animal is believed to have been brawling with local pets and alcoholics. The photo was taken by Bennet Oleg Bazoom, a sweeper and local musician. He has no further information about the creatures whereabouts, saying only that it did not speak, moved very fast and muttered intelligibly.
