Plight of the bumble bee

The nations honey making industry was dealt a blow today when Britain’s honey-bees warned that they are prepared to go on strike this summer over working conditions.
Union leader, bee Obcrowe, has called for a ballot in the early spring, just before the production peak.

‘We’ve had enough! We spend most of the winter underground, bounce from flower to flower picking up pollen during the summer, then get back to the nest to be ordered around by the Queen. We also get sworn at just because we are doing our jobs, mainly being called ‘fat w*****s’ by the wasps. The unions’ bee-rothers and sisters need to let the public know our issues’ the union leader wittered.
