Slimy To the Moon

To the collective surprise of the rest of the world Cornwall entered the space race last night by firing a slug named Frank into orbit in a home made rocket. Not only that but once the capsule ‘Pellet 1’ has circumnavigated the globe three times it will use the Earth’s gravity to slingshot the creature towards the moon with the intention of landing upon it. Exactly what the animal is supposed to do when it arrives there is unclear. We don’t even know if it is in possession of a Cornish flag. An exclusive Haddock interview with the project leader Barney kull may have shed some light on the plan.

“What slug?” He said.
